Carol’s business career spans 27 years in the field of Human Resources with leading Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Her leadership roles have supported organizations such as Starbucks, Amazon, FedEx Office, Nextel, and Pitney Bowes in Transportation/Logistics, Retail, Telecommunications, and eCommerce solutions. Carol, currently supports the Georgia market with Starbucks, supporting Regional Directors and a platform of District Managers. In her work history, she has participated in launching retail facilities in the Atlanta market with locations ranging from 1800 to 750,000 sq. ft. of real estate. Consultant to RVP’s, Regional Directors, Managing Directors, District Managers and Store Managers in the Southeast Region supporting up to 2200 employees in up to 248 locations, on average. Managed teams of HR professionals responsible for the overall support of human resource needs, engagement, development, recruitment efforts, and training initiatives. Recognized as one of the Top 100 managers in people leadership. Continues to provide HR support to leadership in all aspects of business. Development of leaders is a strong focus with continued success. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, however a resident of Dallas, Georgia. Carol is the wife to Don Dawkins who she’s known since early childhood, mother to Xavier and stepmother to Danielle, Donald and Dominique. Carol has three amazingly beautiful grandchildren, Casey Xavier, Halo Grace, and Preston Jamison. Carol is a lover of Smooth Jazz and tries to attend several concerts a year. Carol has a passion for dabbling in real estate as an investor. Carol enjoys singing and continues to learn how to play the piano. Carol is a lover of life and all life has to offer. Part owner of two properties at Regal Palms Resort and Spa, Carol seeks to participate in areas where she has a vested interest.
