For over 35 years, I have owned and run a successful business in branding, design, and marketing, employing graphic designers, web designers, sales, and office staff. I have worked with thousands of clients across various market sectors to bring branding and marketing strategies to life and help my clients grow their businesses through professional marketing. Given my entrepreneurial spirit, it was inevitable that I would be self-employed. From a very young age, I ran small businesses and events. I love to organize and plan.

While running my marketing firm, I was approached to write and teach a design course for college. One course turned into several, and over a 25-year period, I wrote 7 marketing and design courses and taught well over 1,000 students. I had no idea I would enjoy teaching so much, but the energy of young people is infectious, and I genuinely enjoyed every minute – well, maybe not the hours of marking – but everything else. As with everything I do, I gave this my all and am incredibly proud to have received exceptional reviews from my students every year that I taught.

I never want to stop learning and I embrace new challenges. Having always had an affinity for numbers and an interest in investment vehicles, I recently passed the Exempt Market Proficiency exam, allowing me to provide investments in the area of exempt market funds. A strong understanding of numbers and finances has greatly benefitted me in every aspect of what I do, and I am now able to use that area of my skills to help others.

On the personal side, my husband, Dean, and I own rental properties in both Canada and the US. Dean is a licensed Realtor and Property Manager, which greatly assists in managing our properties. We have been happily married for 30 years and have an amazing daughter who is studying Justice/Law at university.
